General booking conditions for MONEA El Nido.
These General Booking Conditions (hereinafter, the "Conditions") govern the relationship between VENEGAS 90.0 SL (hereinafter, "the hotel" or "MONEA El Nido") and the guest who requests and/or confirms a booking through the website moneaelnido.com, its linked booking engines, email or other direct channels.
Making a booking implies full reading and acceptance of these Conditions.
1. Operator identification

2. Purpose
These Conditions govern the accommodation contract between the hotel and the guest, as well as any additional services (experiences, transfers, dining, etc.) booked through direct channels.
3. Booking
A booking is considered confirmed once the hotel sends the guest a written booking confirmation (email) upon receiving the request and, where applicable, the required payment or guarantee.
The guest declares that the information provided is accurate and undertakes to communicate any changes as far in advance as possible.
4. Rates, currency and payments
Published rates are per stay or per night as indicated, and are shown in USD ($) and/or EUR (€) on the website. The hotel's official currency is the Tanzanian Shilling (TZS), although payments in USD and EUR are accepted at the prevailing exchange rate.
Rates may or may not include the Tanzanian Tourism Development Levy (TDL), VAT or other local taxes as indicated on the product page. Any amounts payable on-site (e.g. tourist taxes in cash) will be clearly communicated prior to booking confirmation.
Online payments are processed through secure payment gateways (Stripe or another approved provider). VENEGAS 90.0 SL does not store your card details.
5. Cancellation and modification policy

- Free cancellation: up to [ ⚠️ X days ] before the check-in date.
- Partial cancellation: between [ ⚠️ Y ] and [ ⚠️ X days ] before check-in, [ ⚠️ Z% ] of the total booking amount will be charged.
- Late cancellation / no-show: with less than [ ⚠️ Y days ] notice, or in the event of non-arrival on the check-in date, [ ⚠️ 100% ] of the booking will be charged.
- Modifications: subject to availability and any rate difference between the original and new dates.
- Non-refundable bookings: where a specific "non-refundable" rate is selected, 100% of the amount will be charged at the time of booking and no refund will be issued upon cancellation.
6. Check-in and check-out
- Check-in: from [ ⚠️ 14:00 ] local Zanzibar time (UTC+3).
- Check-out: by [ ⚠️ 11:00 ] local time.
- Early check-in / late check-out: subject to availability and possible additional charges. Please request in advance.
- Identification required: the hotel is required to register guests with the Tanzanian authorities. A passport or other valid identity document will be requested at check-in.
7. Guest policy and conduct
- Guests undertake to make proper and responsible use of the facilities, respecting the hotel's internal regulations and fellow guests.
- Wilful or negligent damage to the facilities, furniture or equipment will be charged to the guest.
- The hotel reserves the right of admission and the right to end a stay early in the event of inappropriate behaviour, without any obligation to issue a refund.
8. Force majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform arising from force majeure events (natural disasters, armed conflict, administrative decisions, pandemics, suspension of air travel to Zanzibar, etc.). In such cases, both parties will agree in good faith on the most reasonable solution (refund, date change or credit).
9. Liability
The hotel's liability is limited to the services actually contracted. The hotel accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or theft of guests' personal belongings outside of the hotel's in-room safes or designated secure areas. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
10. Third-party services and suppliers
Experiences and excursions booked through the hotel (kite, horses, dhow, Mnemba, Stone Town, etc.) may be provided by third-party suppliers. The hotel acts as a facilitator and does not assume direct operational responsibility for those services, without prejudice to its commitment to selecting reliable partners.
11. Data protection
The processing of guests' personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy. Making a booking implies acceptance of that policy.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Conditions are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the applicable tourism and consumer legislation in each case. For the resolution of any dispute, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the registered address of VENEGAS 90.0 SL, unless the applicable consumer regulations provide otherwise.
